Peonies!

Hi!

Today, winter reared it’s frustrating head again.  I can’t call it ugly because it looks so beautiful outside.  To get over my frustration, (I am so ready to get back in my garden.  I even ordered a purple peony) I colored the Mondo Peony stamp set from @ellenhutsonllc.  This is not the first time I have used the set, I tried it out with my Zig Real Brush Markers last week and like the results.

For this card, I stamped and masked 2 of the flower stamps and one of the leaf cluster stamps.  I stamped them on smooth white cardstock from Neenah and used Simon Says Stamp Fog ink for the stamping.

I used for the lighter colors, I used Prismacolor colored pencils PC 956, PC 1008 and PC 1009.  For the darker shades I used PC 932 and PC 132.  The greens are PC 912, PC 1097 and PC 989.  I scribbled white and then PC 1027 for the background.  The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Glorious Bouquet stamp set.  I mounted the sentiment with some foam tape and attached the card panel to a cream colored card base.

Below is the Zig colored peony.  I think I need to color a pink one next!4F23F8B2-A8EF-4321-93F3-B7D44F4621ED
