Stamp Market Floral Bouquet

I hope everyone is staying warm. -51 is indescribable. So I will move on to a card I made instead.

I had been making stamped imaged cards and wanted to color to relax.  I used the Floral Bouquet stamp from the Stamp Market. As you can see, it has so many great stamps in the set! It was also a great warm up for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge.

I started by stamping the images on Neenah Cool Gray Smooth paper with Twighlight ink from Catherine Pooler.  I love this paper, I bought a ream of it. The Twighlight Ink works great for no line coloring.  I pulled out my Polychromos and went to work.

For the blue flowers, I used Polychromos Warm Grey I 270, Prussian Blue 246, Indanthrene Blue 247, Blue Violet 137, Cobalt Turquoise 153, Hello Turquoise 155 and Skyline Blue 146.  I started coloring the entire image with the lightest color and just kept shading until I liked the results.  I used the Warm Grey to help blend all the colors.

For the leaves, I used Leaf Green 112, Halo 264, Hockers Green 159, May Green 170, Permanent Olive Green 167 and Pine Green 267.  For the berries, I used Dark Red 225, Alizarin Crimson 226 and White 101.

I fussy cut everything out and arranged on Neenah Cool Gray Smooth cardstock.  I adhered the smaller imaged to the card base and added foam behind the large flower.  My sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Tiny words and I stamped it with Intense Black Ink by Simon Says Stamp.

I adhered my card panel to a piece of Neenah Classic Crest cardstock and then drew around all of the images with my C1 Copic. I decided I didn’t want any other embellishment on the card.

Thanks for stopping by.  My dog is insisting I pay him some attention. So I am off to play tug of war.
