Hello!
For todays card, I combined two of the Hero Florals red rubber stamps from Hero Arts. These images are clean, not a lot of extra detail, so you can use them differently than other stamps.
Hero Florals Outline Bloom Cling and Color Me Flower Cling
I stamped the Hero Florals Outline Bloom Cling on white 80lb card stock. I broke out my Polychromos and colored the different layers. For the red layers, I used Crimson 134, Magenta 155, and Rose Carmine 124. For the lavender layers, I used Middle Purple Pink 125, Fuchsia 123, Light Magenta 119. For the pink layers, I used Pink Madder Lake 129, Pink Carmine 127 and Pale Geranium Lake 121. The blue greens are Cobalt Green156, Chrome Oxide Green Fiery 276 and Deep Cobalt Green 158.
I cut the bottom three layers away from the top two. I then traced the edges with a black marker.
I stamped the Color Me Flower Cling on vellum and heat embossed with WOW white embossing powder. I used some of the same Polychromos pencils to color the vellum. I then cut out the stamp and used it as the middle layer on my card focal point. I used Gina K Connect glue to adhere the layers.
I used Catherine Pooler Inks Aquatini and Maddi Gras to ink the background. I then used Rose Petals, Rockin’ Red and Sugared Lavendar to create the sprinkled dots in the background. I also used my spray bottle to create more dimension. I then sprayed the panel with Shimmerz clear mist and cut the panel out with My Favorite Things Blue Print Sketch number 27.
I stamped my sentiment on vellum. The “hello” is from My Monthly Hero September 2017. I embossed with Wow! White embossing powder. I added a few drops of Nuvo Crystal Simply White onto my background as well. I mounted my panel on some fun foam and added the entire panel to an Audrey Blue card base from Simon Says Stamp cardstock,
Thank you for stopping by. Hope to see you soon!
