Fun With a Flower Cart

Hello Crafty People!

Today I am sharing a card made with Catherine Poolers Fresh Cut Flower stamp and the tree stamp from the Happy Place stamp set.  I hope to create a card with that stamp set soon.

I started by stamping out my images on CP’s white cardstock with CP’s Sand Castle ink.  I wanted to do some no line coloring with my Luminance colored pencils.  These pencils are new to me so there was a learning curve.

For the wooden portion of the cart, I used Burnt Sienna 69, Brown Ochre 37 and Brown Ochre 50% 836.  For the awning, I used Crimson Alazarin 589, Scarlet 070 and Payne’s Grey 60% 507.  For the darling little dog, I used Sepia 407, Cassel Earth 46 and Burnt Sienna 69.

I colored the yellow/gold florals using Golden Bismuth Yellow 820 and Orange 030.  For the Mauve/Pink flowers, I used Ultra Marin Pink 083 and Manganese Violet 112,  For the red roses, I used Crimson Alazarin 589 and Scarlett 070.  I used Silver Grey 002, Payne’s Grey 504 and Steel Grey 004 on the pails.

I used the same greens in the tree as I did on the grass,  I used the same browns for the trunk as I did on the cart.

To create the grassy hills, I blended Catherine Pooler’s Grass Skirt and Green Tea on the same white cardstock. I used Lawn Fawns Meadow Border to cut out the grassy Hills.  For the sky, I blended Catherine Pooler’s Something Borrowed and It’s A Boy and used Honey Bee Stamps cloud stencil to create the background sky.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I just masked off the word Spring when inking up my stamp with Versafine black ink.

I adhered everything to my card panel using my E-Z runner tape runner.  I then took my card panel and adhered it to a side fold A2 card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy your week!
