A Pair of Ericka’s Stamping Challenge

Hello all,

A couple of Eric/ka’s That I follow created a card challenge.  The first challenge is to make a card about coffee.  I have a couple of sets of coffee stamps, but I really like the sentiments in Catherine Pooler’s Perfect Blend stamp set.

I think the colors in this card are a new favorite color combo.

I started by stamping Versamark ink on a card panel and pouring Ranger Platinum Silver Embossing Powder over the background and heat embossing it.  I repeated this step two more times.

I then took out the stamp with two coffee beans and randomly stamped it all over the background with Versamark sticky ink.  I poured Rangers Rose Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped images and heat embossed those.  I love this embossing powder.  It is more of a bronze color than rose gold.  It is just beautiful.  I then stamped the single bean and heat embossed it with the same embossing powder.

I cut a frame out for my shaker using Lawn Fawns stitched rectangle dies.  I used the largest and the third largest to create the frame.  I then stamped Versamark sticky ink all over the frame and heat embossed it with the Rose Gold embossing powder.  I repeated this step one more time.

I stamped my coffee and sentiment images on Judikins Embossable Window Plastic with Stazon Midnight Blue ink.  I attached the plastic to my frame with double sided tape.  I then doubled up my foam tape and added it to my frame.

I added some bronze, gold and blue Recollections sequins to my card panel and then attached my frame to my card panel.  I took the entire piece and attached it to an A2 card base.

I some how managed to add a ding in my embossed frame so I added a blue sequin to cover it.  That finished off my card.

I hope you have an amazing week!
