Sweet Sunflowers

Hello!

Today I decided to use colors I rarely use; yellow and green. I am using Catherine Pooler products today.

I started by schmearing CP Ink in Seafoam Green on a piece of inexpensive, A2 sized cardstock. The foam pad works so well, it only took 4 swipes to saturate the background.

I then took the Perfect Vine stencil and taped it to my card panel. I stenciled CP Ink in Sage over the stencil. These two greens work beautifully together! I let the panel dry, then cut it out using My Favorite Things Blueprint Sketch #27 die.

I colored the flowers using Copic markers Y19, Y08 and YR27 on the petals and YR27, E15 and E18 for the center. For the leaves, I used G14, G07 and G05.

For the sentiment, I schmeared Seafoam and Sauna ink on cardstock and used the “Sweet” die to cut out the sentiment. I layered the Sauna on top of the Seafoam.

I glued the leaves and one of the flowers on my panel and popped up the other two flowers. I glued my card panel onto an A2 side fold card. I then painted the flowers and sentiment with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen and added glossy accents on top of that.

Very simple card, but I love the results. Thanks for stopping by!

Patty
