Plumeria

Welcome to June!

For todays card share, I created a dimensional card using Jane’s Doodles Plumeria stamp set. The Blooms are beautiful! To be honest, I never have seen Plumeria, so I had to look it up. It comes in so many colors, truly a gorgeous plant.

To start, I stamped the images with Ink on 3 fade out ink. My original plan was to do no line coloring on the images. I colored the images using my Copic markers. For the leaves, I used G14, YG17, G17. For the petals, I used RV21, RV10, RV69 and RV13 for the pink areas and Y11 and Y35 for the yellow areas.

Once I had everything colored, I decided to re-stamp the images with Ink on 3 clear embossing ink and heat embossed using Ranger Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder. I fussy cut out the images.

For the background, I used Catherine Pooler inks. I used Sauna for the very center, then did a small ring of Shea Butter around that and finally, I used It’s A Girl around the edges. I splashed a little water on the card base and blotted off with a microfiber towel. I then cut the card base out using Spellbinders Venise Lace dies.

I attached the leaves and several flowers to my card base using Gina K Connect glue. I popped up the cluster of flowers using 3M Foam Tape. I adhered the card panel to a side fold A2 card base and just turned it sideways. I decided to add the Love sentiment from Simon Says Stamps Four Seasons stamp set.

This completes todays card share. I hope you enjoyed it.

See you soon!

Patty
