Birthday Wishes

Happy weekend!  Today’s post is a fall birthday card colored with my Luminance Colored pencils.  I used a darling stamp from Stamptember, A Simon Says Stamp and Studio Katia collaboration called Fresh Bunch.

I stamped the image on Arteza black drawing paper.  It is a little thin, but worked beautifully with my colored pencils! I used Ink On 3’s clear embossing ink (personal fav) and embossed with Brutus Monroe’s Gilded Embossing powder.  It is the perfect gold color and the sparkle is just right!

To color the leaves, I used Grass Green, Olive Yellow and Olive Brown for the fern-ish looking leaves and Moss Green and Dark English Green on the regular leaves.

For the grapes or berries, your choice, I used Brown Violet, Light Aubergine and Violet. For the Peonies I used Ultramarine Pink, Violet and Perylene Brown.

For the Apple, I used Permanent Red, Crimson Alizarin, Scarlet and Perylene Brown.  For the orange flowers, I used Orange, Crimson Alizarin and Carnelian.

For the pine cones, I used Sepia and Burnt Ochre 10%.

I stamped the sentiment with Ink on 3’s Clear Embossing Ink and used Brutus Monroe’s Gilded Embossing Powder on it as well.

I cut the panel out using Lawn Fawn’s stitched rectangle die then attached my panel to my cardbase.

I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gold and Crimson to finish off my card.
